CARU – The love

In our travels through Wales, we came to learn the Welsh word cariad, which means no less than love – something we were not soon to forget. When we sat down a few years later to brainstorm names for our new under-cabinet light, cariad sprang back into our minds. And that is exactly where the name CARU derives from, translating to “I love.” It describes perfectly what CARU is for us: a way to put the spotlight on the things you love.
